For several years I photographed exclusively with Canon gear. Around that time, I took part in the Canon Photo Days Belgium competition — an experience that will stay with me.
I had the honour of representing Canon at the event and giving a talk of around fifty minutes in front of the visitors. For nearly an hour, I shared my journey, presented my images, explained how I work and described how a photograph can convey an emotion before you even understand it.
That day I understood that telling a story is not just about taking a beautiful photo. You also have to know how to share your vision.
