When a photograph became monumental

When a photograph became monumental

In 2019, one of my photographs was selected among the Young Talents in a competition organised with BOZAR.

That image then became a monumental work, printed at 3 metres by 2.60 metres and exhibited at WIELS, one of Brussels' leading contemporary art centres.

Seeing your work take on such a dimension is a feeling that's hard to describe. You go from pixels on a screen to an image that fills an entire wall. It was probably the first time I truly realised my images could live somewhere other than the internet.
